The HDPA in conjunction with Uniting Care at Lithgow are putting a smile on the faces of a number of people with disabilities.
This Friday 2 June 2017 at 12 noon, we are holding a BBQ ( sausage sizzle ) for about 20 people, both male and female aged between 20 to about 45, that are physically challenged, some in wheelchairs , from Uniting Care in Lithgow. They will be transported in buses with about 4 carers and have insisted on giving us $5 per head, to go towards, sausages, bread rolls and salads, and maybe a dessert which Kerrie will prepare.
Any members who are free to help out from noon to about 1.30pm would be very welcome. This a great cause and an opportunity to show our support to Uniting Care for the work they do.
