The big rains of April are past, leaving many smiling faces as dams and water tanks have filled to overflowing after a dryish summer.
Early frosts and dark, cold days have given way to balmy days with summer clouds. The weather patterns are scrambled.
Overall it seems that winter has come early to Hartley this year. Plenty of time to sit back and enjoy the latest Newsletter from the Hartley District Progress Association. If you haven’t found one in your letterbox, you’ll find it online here, as well as many previous ones.
The next meeting of the Hartley District Progress Association will be held at the Old School Building on Monday 1st June from 7.00 pm. It’s a good time to catch up with your neighbours within the valley and to be involved in what is going on in the area. Membership is a mere $5 per annum. All residents are welcome to belong and to attend the four meetings held annually.
