Sadly, well known and loved long term resident of Hartley Vale,  Aunty to all, Val Morris passed away on the weekend.

These notices were published in the Lithgow Mercury of 23rd July, 2015.


DEATH NOTICE:  MORRIS (nee WEBBER)  Valma Josephine (Val)

18 July, 2015 peacefully at Three Tree Lodge, Lithgow. Of Hartley.

Dearly loved wife of Neville (deceased), loved mother & mother-in-­law of Vicki (deceased), Jeff & Barb,

much loved Nan of Lia & Steve, Jason & Jane, Daniel & Tonneal,

much loved great Nan of Sam, Mitch, Zoe, Evie & Will,

dear sister of Daphne, Lois, Bob & Colleen (all deceased),

fond sister-in-­law & auntie of their families.

Aged 91 years.

Forever loved.


Prayers for the repose of the soul of the late VALMA JOSEPHINE MORRIS of Hartley

will be offered in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Hartley on MONDAY (27TH JULY, 2015) AT 1.00PM.

At the conclusion of the prayers private cremation will take place.

Members of the Lithgow Workmen’s Club are invited to attend.

No flowers by request & lieu donation could be considered to Three Tree Lodge and may be left at the Church.
